Established in the late 1800s, CAPAX is one of the largest independent middle market, commercial lines focused insurance agencies in the Central San Joaquin Valley of California. Headquartered in Modesto, the Company offers differentiated capabilities including large account and self-insured workers’ compensation, captive management services, agribusiness and a fast-growing employee benefits book of business. CAPAX is a majority family-owned and operated business led by CEO Joel Geddes Jr. and President Joel Geddes III. Joel Geddes III will continue to run the Company out of it’s Modesto office.
